Exciting news! It was announced today that Nicole is becoming an anchor on CNBC’s “Worldwide Exchange,” the First Worldwide Daily Business News Program. It airs Weekdays 4AM-6AM ET with Anchors in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Each weekday Ross Westgate in London and Christine Tan in Singapore and Lapin in the U.S. will cover local stories with global significance. “Worldwide Exchange” is the networks’ most distributed show, simultaneously available in more than 100 countries across the globe.
“Nicole’s experience and talent make her a great addition to CNBC,” said Jeremy Pink, Senior Vice President Business News, CNBC. “’Worldwide Exchange’ is an integral part of CNBC’s global coverage and Nicole will bring a fresh perspective on business news.”

On Friday evening Nicole attended Operation Smile’s 8th Annual Smile Gala at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. She looked great as she posed for photographers. Inside the event Nicole was pictured with fellow Operation Smile Ambassador Jessica Simpson.

A few days ago Nicole interviewed actor Jeremy Piven about his new comedy film “The Goods.” Nicole also asked him briefly about his role on “Entourage” and about the possibility of making it in to a film. During the interview Piven, who obviously hadn’t realized it was live, dropped the f-bomb – and Nicole’s reaction is priceless! Watch the interview below:
Yesterday Nicole had the task of anchoring the Michael Jackson Memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. She interviewed many people throughout the day, including Lou Ferrigno who was training Michael for his upcoming concerts in London. Nicole also spoke to Bryan Monroe, the last journalist to interview MJ before this tragic death.
In other news, Nicole made the Top 10 Hottest Female Newscasters on Screen Junkies.com.
Nicole recently interviewed Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and he revealed what movie he regrets being a part of. Schwarzenegger thinks he’s made some bad movies, but ‘Terminator 2′ and ‘True Lies’ are two of his favorites. Watch a clip from the interview below:
Nicole is one of Atlanta’s people to watch in 2009, according to Metromix. They asked Nicole some interesting questions, such as what inspires her, what’s next for her in 2009 and which songs make up her life’s playlist.
Nicole is also asked where she sees herself in five years, to which she replied: “I’ve always made it a point to concentrate on the job I have, rather than focusing on what’s around the corner. I am extremely honored to be part of the network renowned for innovating and shaking-up the news-consumption habits of today.”

CNN Live teamed up with Facebook on inauguration night (see above picture) and Nicole was anchoring and they received unprecedented ratings, 18.8 million!
Teenscene Mag has an interview with Nicole about her life as a CNN anchor. Nicole, who has a long 19 hour work day, talks about being the youngest anchor and how the veteran anchors are “inspiring.”
She says: “I respect my colleagues’ hard work and journalistic prowess. I think I receive the same respect in return. I may be young if you look at the number but I’ve amassed a lot of experience – I just started a little earlier than some,”
Nicole reports from CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, where she gives a tour and talks about the latest gadgets, such as the Samsung 3D HDTV.
Nicole walked the red carpet at Variety’s “Power Of Youth” event in L.A. over the weekend. It was a full day of fun with performances and activities for patients and families of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the exclusive beneficiary of the event.
Nicole attended “The Do Something Awards” Pre-Party for The 2008 Teen Choice Awards, in Hollywood a few days ago. Nicole recently attended The LEAGUE National Awards & Recognition Luncheon. The luncheon was held in New York City and was hosted by actress Queen Latifah, who Nicole is pictured with above.
The LEAGUE in NYC honored the top schools, classes, districts and students for their accomplishments during the 2007-2008 school year.
Nicole is on the cover of the latest issue of Eliza Magazine.
