Nicole Lapin is featured in the new issue of POWERgirls – a positive pro-girl magazine. Nicole is sharing the cover with a teen who dreams of doing her job when she grows up.

“She’s wearing a mod sixties-print wrap-dress and a pair of glam stiletto heels that have her on her tiptoes. ‘I’m more comfortable in heels than in flats,’ she says, then jokes that she once fell over in a pair of ballet shoes while crossing the street. ‘It’s important to know who you are and embrace whatever that is. Don’t change just to fit someone else’s standard.’ For Nicole, that has meant keeping her locks long and her heels high in a newsroom full of starched shirts and sturdy shoes.”
